Enshrined from the Hua Yi Ci Xin Pavilion, the Mother Goddess was welcomed back on July 29, 2018, at the time of the ancestral temple's main sanctuary Mother Goddess's consecration. She is also the first emanated Mother Goddess of Ci Xin. The tradition of Ci Xin is that every Mother Goddess is bestowed a title. The second character of the title is the month, and the first character is always bestowed by the founding Mother Goddess. The title for the Golden Ring Mother Goddess is "De Li". The title "De Li" has a beautiful and profound meaning. "What is De? And what is Li?" I remember when the Mother Goddess descended during her birthday celebration to bestow blessings, she said, "Li refers to the sixth month, the time when the precious fruit, the lychee, ripens. It bears fruit only once a year, precisely on time, and will not bear fruit if not at the fixed time. However, if the time passes, it cannot be enjoyed. Those who treasure food will certainly be punctual and cherish the fruit immensely." The implication is that adherence to punctuality and cherishing [what is given] is virtue.
