Water God Emperor

| Prayer for Relief · Lunar October 15th Birthday |
In Taoism, the high true deities second only to the Jade Emperor are the "Three Grand Officials," representing heaven, earth, and water in the three realms. They are also known as the "Three Realms Lords" and are great gods closer to the mortal world.
The fifteenth day of the tenth lunar month is the birthday of the "Lower Origin Three Officials, Great Emperor of the Caves and Yin, the Water Official, who absolves misfortune," or Emperor Yu. This day is primarily associated with the absolution of misfortune. In folk beliefs, people pray to the Heavenly Official for blessings on the Upper Origin Festival, to the Earthly Official for the forgiveness of sins on the Middle Origin Festival, and earnestly repent on the Lower Origin Festival, celebrating the Water Official Great Emperor's birthday. They pray for the removal of disasters, the warding off of evil spirits, and the liberation from bad luck. They also express gratitude to the Three Great Officials and various deities for their protection throughout the year, praying for peace and safety for their families. Consequently, this day is also called "Xie Ping An" (Gratitude for Peace).
The Golden Ring San Guan Da Di golden statue has a long history, nearly 50 years. The Golden Ring Lu Xia is fortunate to inherit incense from the great temple of Taipei to offer blessings and peace! Miraculous deeds are endless!
