Hexagram interpretation:
The word "Feng" means abundant and prosperous. The Zhen hexagram (upper trigram) represents movement; the Li hexagram (lower trigram) represents clarity. Together, they signify acting in an open and honest manner. When one handles any matter with integrity, success and development are inevitable. Once successful, abundance and prosperity follow. On one hand, the Zhen hexagram represents thunder; the Li hexagram represents lightning. Combined, they symbolize thunder and lightning meeting in the sky, creating a powerful spectacle. This is the meaning of "Feng." On the other hand, the Li hexagram represents wisdom; the Zhen hexagram represents prestige and courage. Therefore, as a whole, it signifies being both wise and courageous, with an immeasurable greatness. This is also the meaning of "Feng." Thus, it is named the "Feng" hexagram.
