Śākyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, revered by devotees as the World-Honored One 🙏, was originally a prince in ancient India. Moved by the suffering of life, old age, sickness, and death in the human world, he renounced his royal life, became a monk, and after decades of preaching, attained Buddhahood through Nirvana, leaving behind countless scriptures 📚.
