The Fourteenth: "Fire Heaven Grand Possession," Di Renjie Revives the Tang Dynasty
Firm and upright by nature, uncorrupted by personal motives.
Heaven knows the heart.
Watch as their cacophony fades away,
Pacifying the dust and turmoil strengthens the nation's foundation.
Hexagram interpretation:
The "Great" in "Great Possession" signifies grandeur, and "Possession" signifies abundance. Together, they mean great and abundant. The upper trigram of this hexagram, "Li," represents the sun. The lower trigram, "Qian," represents heaven. Therefore, the comprehensive symbolism of this hexagram is the sun shining on all things on the ground from heaven. At the same time, the upper trigram, "Li," represents the season of peak reproduction in summer, while the lower trigram, "Qian" represents autumn when all things reach maturity and harvest. Thus, from all perspectives, it fully signifies abundance and richness. Therefore, it is named the "Great Possession Hexagram."
