Empress Nuwa is credited with the feat of \"creating humans\" and establishing the institution of \"marriage.\" More famously, she is known for her legend of mending the sky with five-colored stones, saving the people from the disaster of the heavenly river after Gonggong destroyed Buzhou Mountain.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The empress Nuwa, worshipped at Jinguan, has her spiritual essence enshrined in the ancestral temple \"Dafu Butian Temple.\" The Empress Nuwa worshipped at Butian Temple has a history of nearly 200 years, dating back to the eighth year of Daoguang (1828).
